Overcrowding, too many brands, too much advertising, your brand is drowning. Because they are saying pretty much the same. Solving this problem means making cult brands, brands that really appeal to your heart. This is about storytelling, about autenticity. You have to believe it yourself, that is the difficult part, many brands are just so many words communicating next to nothing. They did. Leadership changed along with the concept of branding. Branding is about values, associated with the product, but with the company as well. The task is more and more about values, leadership is value based, or should be.
True leadership is not about writing some values, some core values, many leaders can do that but employees and leaders often forget about these ”paper values”. The challenge is this: make employees live the values, at all times. It is not what you say, it is what you do.
