Technical requirements

Electronic carriers: Flash Drive, CD, DVD. A printout must be attached to a ready advertising module!

Electronic mail: All advertising materials must be packed in archivers: Zip, or Rar. When ready modules are e-mailed their preview-files in Jpg or Pdf format with the resolution of 72 dpi must be attached to the letter. The size of one letter can not be over 3 Мb.

Vector graphics:

  • File versions eps 8.0 and the previous are accepted,
  • Colour model CMYK.
  • There must be maximum 1500 nodes in the clipping path.
  • Textual elements must be converted into curved elements.
  • It is not recommended to use a text with fewer than 6 entries at 100% colour filling and 7-8 entries at a partial filling.
  • It is unacceptable to use effects, transparencies and FreeHand (lenses and postscript-fillings), Illustrator (GradientMesh-fillings). All such effects must be converted into a raster image.
  • When vector elements are converted into raster elements the Anti-alias option must be switched on!

Raster graphics for advertising modules:

  • The file formats for raster graphics are: Photoshop-EPS, TIFF (compaction may be used).
  • Colour models for raster images are CMYK, Grayscale and Bitmap (Black&White).
  • All raster images must have a resolution of 300 dpi with the exception of Bitmap.
  • Raster images in Bitmap (Black&White) colour model can have a resolution of 600 dpi.
  • All Alfa-channels and paths must be removed from raster images.
  • The introduction of profiles is inadmissible.
  • Texts containing fewer than 9 entries are not allowed in raster graphics. A smaller size text must be introduced in a vector form.

Other graphic materials:

High quality photographs (printed snapshots, slides, electronic images) and reproductions (from books, catalogues, magazines). For a reproduction – colour layers combination, thickness and homogeneity of a background, the degree of abrasion and rumpled surface of the paper. Irrelevant words and phrases must be retouched or occupy less than 10% of the image. The size of reproductions cannot be less than the corresponding picture in the advertising module. Slides and negatives are only accepted in transparent covers. Slides as big as 5x6 cm are preferable for whole page or double page advertisements.

Operation factors for electronic images (raster graphics) – jpg format with minimal compression, originals are preferable. Files downloaded from the Internet are not accepted.

Textual material Files in RTF or TXT formats with the number of symbols not exceeding the size of an advertising page. The number of symbols at a complete infill (9, 3 size of type; line spacing – 100%): the whole page - 7500; 1/2 – 4500; 1/3 – 2500, 1/4 - 1200.

Signs and logotypes:

  • In the form of vector graphic files (all prints converted into curves), raster graphics (with an enlarged resolution in CMYK or B&W formats).
  • In the form of B/W printout (A4 format) with the highest possible resolution. It is necessary to indicate the initial colours according to CMYK model or PANTONE Process scale.
